This is a very good and concise reference to be used when preparing for the PMP exam. I have found it useful and a another great item to add to one's PMP preparation library. It can also be used after passing the test, when drafting PM charters and plans.

If you're a PMI member, you can obtain this book as a PDF free of charge. However, it's password protected and they block a lot of features, such as printing. It also prevents putting it on an eReader. The last thing I want is another thing forcing me on a screen, so I decided to take a look at the PMI Bookstore. Surely that PMI Member Discount has to be good for something. Total defeat, with a price tag of $84.67 CDN ($49 + $6.37 Sales Tax + $7.57 Shipping = $62.94 USD). As a last resort, I decided to try Google to see if it was cheaper elsewhere. I was absolutely floored by the price difference on this Amazon listing. The spiral bound is 75% cheaper than PMI's bookstore! What gives?! I read the reviews, saw the reported quality concerns, decided to roll the dice and was absolutely relieved with what I received. Great book! But they went cheap on the book itself. Nice colours. Start to work in it, you quickly notice the rate of decay this book.

Definitely pick this book up to assist with studying for the PMP. It does a phenomenal job of covering Agile principles to assist in your learning endeavor.
It's an easy read. As others have said, there's wasted space, but honestly, that made it easier for me to take notes as I read and made the reading less daunting. I didn't have any printing issues with mine as others have noted, so hopefully that's been corrected!
