ICA: Très déçues, car j'ai acheté ce set de pêche complet pour mon petit fils qui l'attendait avec impatience. On a choisi ce set car il voulait une épuisette, car le reste on l'avait déjà. Il a été très déçu et moi aussi quand on a ouvert le colis et on n'a pas trouvé l'epuisette. Et moi qui voulait lui faire plaisir.

Isaac: Review from 10 year old son: “Fun for a bit until it got tangled then we couldn’t cast. On the first day I used it tangled. I couldn’t catch anything. Now it’s hard to reel. The bait is pretty good. It’s also easy to get mud and dirt in the fishing pole and get it stuck. Now it’s hard to cast and can’t go far.

MadiBMadiB: The media could not be loaded.  My grandmother got me a set of Plussinno fishing lures as a gift last year, and the quality was so good that we decided to try the kids fishing pole for our son. It did not disappoint! We finally were able to get it on the water and catch some fish! The spoons caught the bass in the pictures, and my son was able to reel in a good size largemouth bass as well. He loved it! The bag is sturdy, and you get two small tackle boxes. You won’t be disappointed for a kids fishing pole. The spool is sturdy and made well too. I put 10-20 different lures of all sizes on this rod and it casted flawlessly. I plan on packing this pole next time I leave for work and have a chance to get on some fish. Very impressed with the quality of the spoons and fishing pole and will not hesitate to buy Plusinno again.

Got this for my daughter to fish with me. Keep in mind the price, i will have a few things to say:

1. The rod base is grippy with a firm foam grip. Also has a small trigger finger nub to keep the rod firmly gripped when casting. This is significant because for kids, it's easy to accidentally let go and throw the rod into the water. Other "kids" rods i have purchased dont have a grippy base and its immediately noticeable. using foam also keeps base warm to hold in a cool day -- other rods i've used have plastic base and it gets cold for kids hands.

2. The reel bracket does NOT come loose after a half day of fishing. Glad. I have two other rods where after only a few casts, the darn bracket keeps coming loose. I have to loctite them in. This one keeps the reel secure after a good 3 hours of fishing with my kid.

3. the travel bag it comes with ACTUALLY FITS the fully assembled rod. May be minor point but i never understood why any company would ship a bag that doesnt fit the product properly. (my two other rods come with bags that are too...

Deep Thought: We're vacationing in Florida and my son (5) and daughter (8) wanted to "go fishing". I knew that they'd have all the patience of 5 minutes, but wanted to give them something of the experience anyways. I looked for a set that would be age-appropriate and inexpensive.

When I was a kid we had those terrible bamboo rods. Well let me tell you... we've come a long way. These set is excellent... you'll be shocked by how much you get for your money. The kid inside me is jealous that I didn't have anything like this.

The entire set is very light... nearly weightless. My son (5) had no trouble carrying this a distance. He put it on like a backpack even though it's not designed as such.

The rod is pretty much ready to go. All you need to do is position the reel on it and hand tighten this piece that screws over it. You'll only need to do this once and then you can just leave it on forever (I'm not sure why they don't just ship it already on). Don't over-tighten or it looks like you might damage it. Then, you simply thread the line through the loops and attach a hook and/or other gear.

The rod itself is excellent. It's easy to telescope it in/out and it mostly...

larbearlarbear: This is a light weight portable telescoping pole for beginners. I am an avid fisher who travels. I was in the market for a child’s pole that I can pack in my suitcase for my son. I settled on the Plusinno kids telescopic fishing pole. The whole fishing kit fits into about a 2ft carrying bag with room to spare for more gear or even another telescoping pole. The little beginner fishing box is awesome for a kid just getting into fishing as it has a little bit of everything. I was surprised how everything fit into the fishing box. The quality of the pole and the reel is better than I thought from the pictures online. I took it out to my pond behind my house and tried everything out. Casting the line out was very smooth and the retrieval of the line was just as smooth. After I got done playing with the pole, I gave it to my 11 year old son and he played with it for a while and the pole worked wonderfully. I live in Ohio and the ice is just coming off the pond so we didn’t catch anything. I can’t wait to see how this pole works with a fish on the other end. The only modifications I did to the pole was change the line out of the reel. I change the line in all pre spooled reels....
