Juan Manuel Martínez Silva: Se sienten muy sólidas en la mano, el material del que está hecho a pesar de ser muy liviano se siente resistente. Cumple con lo que se menciona en la publicación. La parte que tiene para corte de la línea funciona muy bien con suficiente filo. La funda cuenta con un clip para llevarla en el cinturón y no se mueve ni se cae de alguna manera.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I ordered these on Prime Day and received them today. As shown in the listing, they come with a molded belt holster with coiled retaining cord and small carabiner. The holster has a belt clip that rotates to click into several different angles. The pliers fit very snugly (with jaws closed) in the holster, and I don’t think they could come out accidentally. I won’t be using the holster, as I fish from a kayak, and my PFD has a handy pocket for pliers. Bank or boat anglers should find the holster useful.

The pliers are heavier than I expected, and that’s a good thing. The tips are listed as stainless steel, and they pass the magnet test. The handles are aluminum, and feel sturdy and solid in your hand. The pivot in the pliers is very smooth, with no sideplay, so the tips stay aligned while in use. There are several different crimping notches, a line cutter, and it has a tip for opening split rings.

One use I have is to remove hooks on deeply hooked bass. None of the fish this morning inhaled the soft plastics, but the length and dimensions of the pliers look like they’ll be maneuverable and fit well behind the gill plate for...

JAbocJAboc: Fishing pliers have been a staple in my arsenal when dealing with toothy fish like blue fish in the Chesapeake Bay. It feels like I go through a set of pliers each season due to corrosion build up in my pliers and making them a rusty paperweight. These pliers at this price makes this an easy choice.

- Feels great in hand
- Lightweight
- Solid construction

Also it looks like the line cutter can be replaced if needed along with the main section as needed. Not sure if this available from Plussino but this is an added plus.

I was able to remove the treble hooks/split rings from my SP Minnows with ease. Also was able to remove treble hooks from other hard baits too.

Only concern is the finish on the pliers. With constant use I can see these losing their black finish especially after harsh saltwater use. Otherwise I believe these will hold up as long as they are taken care of after each session.

JoshuaJoshua: First off, I did not give 5 stars not because it is not a good tool, but because it can be improved in small way to make a major difference.

Pros:
1. Convenient built in blade to easily cut fishing line.
2. Sturdy and reliable
3. Lightweight
4. Includes a little case to hold the fishing pliers

Cons:
1. The grips feel a little too far apart

Improvements to Consider:
1. The case will not hold the pliers well unless you push it into the case pretty hard. Maybe instead, if you were to attach a snap lock on the top of the case, it would be better.
2. The pliers have no locking mechanism. It would be nice if there was a piece where the ring is currently attached to lock the pliers when desired.

All in all, these are no deal breakers for me, so if you are looking for some decently priced pliers, these definitely should be considered!

Jonathan...: This Plusinno fishing pliers fits the hand nicely, it has a good spring to it for open and closing, the pouch hooks onto your belt/waistband and is also a high quality (thick) canvas material. It even has an expandable cable connected between the pouch and pliers (easily disconnected if you like). I couldn't have designed one better myself. The only negative comment I can make about it is that it would have been nice if it came with some basic visual guide on the purpose for some of the teeth on the pliers. Like the hook at the end of the pliers -which is meant to separate 'split rings' (or key rings). The web site does a fine job of explaining it, but if I give this pliers as a gift to someone, it would be nice to have a little brochure to go with it. Just a thought. I really like this pliers a lot and will still give it 5 stars. I even plan on buying a pair for my brother as a Christmas gift.

RuffianRuffian: Bottom Line Up Front: Perfect fishing pliers for the price.

I'll compare these to my Rapala pliers I have had for years. My Rapala are getting dull in the back part that is used for cutting. I wear them every time I fish and end up cutting things maybe I shouldn't, but they are conveniently on my side. These PLUSINNO pliers will likely last longer because the cutting blades are replaceable. Also, unlike my Rapala that uses Velcro to secure which gets weak with time, these pliers just slide in and the case has great retention. Nice, sturdy belt clip holds the case securely to your side. Plus a convenient collapsing cord will keep them from falling into the water. When out of case, they remain open, so no fidgeting while holding a fish to get them open, just squeeze down and they securely grab anything in their way. Overall, a step up from my old Rapala pliers. Even fishing pliers can be improved. Would buy again in a minute!
