Doug: These have held up really well to saltwater. I use them surf fishing and they tend to get pretty wet but feel just like new. The comfortable grip and appearance are excellent. The function is perfect and the cutters work really well for the lines I use.

Wes Smith: These thing feel great in the hand and are built really well. I use these mostly for surfcasting and they've geld up well over the last 2 months. I'm buying my second pair after gifting mine to a charter captain he liked them so much. The snap ring pliers are really handy and make quick work of pulling hooks off plugs on the fly. Can't beat the price point either.

Pros:
- "Value" pricing (inexpensive, but good quality)
- Lightweight
- Comfortable grip
- Cutters work on the braid I commonly use (see picture, 40lb 4 strand)
- Cutters can make near flush cuts due to positioning
- Hook nose is small enough for small split rings

Cons
- Jaws bias slightly open unless you really squeeze the handles, making it difficult to grip thin lines when cinching knots. I recommend wrapping the line around one of the jaws and pulling instead of trying to grip the line

Misc. Notes
- Included leash is pretty short. It does its job and I appreciate that it was included, but I prefer longer leashes and keeping my tools attached to me instead of unclipping to use them
- Haven't had them long enough to test the corrosion resistance. Will update this review later to include that info

Overall very happy with this purchase, and would recommend them.
