Ellen GabbardEllen Gabbard: Good colored patterns. Easy to see. The bad was when i opened it to find it partially completed. The rest of the orange thread was also missing as well as the red. Product is usable but this was meant to be a gift to my kiddos to get started.

Emmyfish: I purchased this as a gift for my niece. It comes with items as promised, but the instructions are super -minimalistic : just a few sentences on the 2 stitches to get started. And there is no box. It arrived in a small plastic bag. So, it doesn't really have the appearance of a nice gift.
I decided to buy a basic book and a decent box to hold the items, and wrapped that as the gift.

N. McCann: My 7-year-old wanted to learn after watching me do cross stitch, and I remember doing pre-printed cross stitch designs when I was younger. These are small enough not to be overwhelming but large enough that they can get used to doing a row of stitches. A slight complaint is that the Aida is very stiff, but you can always work it a little to loosen it up. The needles are sharp, but not overly sharp, so do be careful with little fingers.
