Amazon Customer: Make sure you season it properly before using, i got a sticky spot, that i was able to fix after some elbow grease. A few months in and its been flawless. Heats evenly, cooks great. Looks good and its size is great for travel.

kazper: We use this primarily for cooking while tent camping. For this purpose it works great.

Things I have cooked on it:
cinnamon buns, philly cheese steaks, hot dogs, hamburgers, reuben sandwiches, bacon, sausage, fries, pancakes, and vegetables.

There are "hot zones" where food cooks hotter than other areas, but if you've used a griddle for more than a day you know to pay attention to this. It will be hottest around where the burner tubes are located. If you give it time to heat up, the entire surface is usable to some extent. You can keep things that are done on the sides and food that still needs to cook closer to the middle/burners.

To me there are two points of possible improvement
1. The burners don't always start on the first try. There have been times where it's taken 5 or 6 attempts for it to finally light. This is especially true if there is even a little wind, which is weird because the flames are protected by metal on all sides. If you're in a windy area you might need to invest in a windshielf- I'm considering one.
2. The grease trap is located at the back of the griddle. This is probably more of a preference thing but I think it makes more...

Ronster: Fab griddle, perfect size for us. I used a small bottle of gas at first but it used it up really quickly and they are expensive in the UK, so I bought a converter connection elbow and a regulator and hose for a large propane bottle (6kg), which should last a while and is much cheaper.
I also like the fact that the cooking surface is steel which does need seasoning but you can use metal utensils and scrapers. All in all I’m very pleased with it.

Marc: Very happy with this griddle. A fraction of the price of a blackstone, and just as good. Had a minor issue with hot plate and pit boss is sending a new one. Great customer service.

Nicholas Sloggett: Great griddle, works well, good heat distribution.
Only negative is is that the cooking surface rusts badly and quickly. I didn't use it for two weeks and when I did, I had to spend half an hour scrubbing and scraping a thick layer of rust off of the platen, and even then the food was discoloured. I assume I should have oiled it well before putting it away. My bad?
