***Update*** Alas, I am returning these headphones. I'm sure they are fantastic for DJ work, they have a very close sound stage with excellent passive noise isolation. However, as other reviews have noted, they are not good for your causal music listener. They compromise too much on mids and highs to produce pounding bass. If you are looking for good music listening headphones around this price point, I recommend the DT 770 pro, they are phenomenal.
I got these to replace my Audiothechnica m50x. These fit and sound WAY better then the m50x. They fit very well and the sound is clean, with emphasis on bass. I use an equalizer to step down the base by one or two notches and it sounds great. Build quality seems great, and so does the carrying case.

I’ve been DJing for about more than 10 years now, so I have a little experience and what to expect for on headphones.
This part is where it gets “weird” but I like it:
- These headphones are NOT GOOD for listen to music on your phone, computer or to watch movies.
- BUT... for djing they are the best I have ever use!!
The sound on these are “flat”, they don’t have that punching bass of some headphones, but the sound that these ones gave are incredible good for djing on clubs and noisy environments because you can hear EVERYTHING, they are really loud, and very confortables.
These are perfect for Latinos Rhythms like Salsa music.
