Pink Teaching Time Clock by The Learning Journey - Help Your Child Learn to Tell Time!

Cedes86: The only thing to do on it is analog time telling by turning the knob each and every time (Quiz game and Tell time). Telly tells time on the hour using 5 to 10 minute increments only. For a child to input the correct time they have to turn the knob/nose (minute/hour hand), which can be difficult for a smaller child. Digital display is okay. To input real-time press and hold one of the two pink small buttons located in the corners directly above the digital clock(left corner=Hour/right corner=Minute). Telly does not tell you the real time!

There are only 2 button-slide functions with 5 capabilities: Tell time; Quiz Game; Volume low; Volume high; and On/Off! Everything else on Telly is literally just display. This product in my opinion is a little over priced. It is absolutely for a toddler(intro to time telling). 36mos to 8yrs yeah okay, more like 12 to 60mos (for those still counting mos past 12). This was a joke for my 6 year old daughter, but cute in concept, plus she knows who she wants to give it to.

The nightlight is not a night light at all. Which is one of the reasons I even purchased it, nor does it illuminate the digital clock. Nothing else...

missbridjety: I bought this for my grandbaby. She's a little young but she's My big girl. She just turned 2 so she mostly is turning the hands and getting the nightlight to work but she does show interest. It's cute, bubble gum pink colored and the material is cheap building block plastic. But should hold up because it's a clock and not meant to be dragged everywhere like other toys. I'll try to come back if I and update.

Harris: I wanted my kids to learn early on a hand clock not always will there be a digital clock and i want them go be able to know how to tell time. It plays games you can even set the digital clock on it so they can match the time of day. There is a light on the top you push on and off. It's cute.

Flavia Banu: Well, more importantly, I AND my almost 4 year old love it. We have been working on telling time for a few months now, so we're not using this toy as beginners. My daughter was familiar with the hour hand and the minute hand, she was able to tell the time on the hour (1 o'clock, 2 o'clock, etc.) and half hour (1:30, 2:30, etc) and we had just started doing the rest. I would make worksheets for her on the computer and she would enjoy doing them with me but it wasn't easy. We also had a wooden toy clock with hands but that wasn't much fun. That's when I thought, there's got to be something interactive out there! And this toy is it!
It's very simple, it only has two settings - in one setting the child can move the hands and the clock (a very friendly kid voice) tells her the time, which also gets displayed electronically; in the other setting, the clock asks the child to show a certain time (3:45 for instance) and the child can move the hands to that particular time. The only tiny drawback (though this is too strong a word, I think) is that if the child hesitates for a moment, and say, instead of 3:45 the hands point at 2:45, the clock almost immediately tells...

smb403: My daughter is five and she like this toy. It is very educational. It helps her to learn to tell the time by having two options. She can show Telly what time Telly is asking for or she could make her own time and Telly will tell her what it is. This is a great learning tool except that is does not wait but about a second to tell her she is wrong while she is still trying to get the hands to the right time for Telly. Not such a big deal as long as the hands hold up in all the fast spinning. Thank you.
