I bought this originally because my fancy goldfish has a funky looking mouth; thinking maybe this was cotton mouth I used this religiously. Seems that’s not what he has as nothing changed and he is still just a funky mouth fish but he can eat and there’s no change so I think he just has a deformity! Anyway despite this my other tank had been chugging along fine then one day two of my guppy girls came out in white lumpy splodges! Panicked as I’ve had these two since they were born, worrying it’s ick but looked more like a fungal thing, I stuck some of this in the tank last night and prayed that I wouldn’t find them dead in the morning. So this morning I approached the tank in trepidation only to find one of the girls has NO white splodges left other than a slight white mark, and the other girl who was worse off has only got light white marks left too!! While they’re not out of the woods yet, this stuff has given them a real chance! Get this in your fishy medicine cabinet so you can use it straight away if you need to. I never expected this tank to get a fungal infection as honestly out of my four tanks this one is the clearest and the water tested...

Brought home a Platy from Petco that ended up having fun rot, and the fun completely rotted off and he could barely swim. I used this product exactly as it was directed, and within about a week my platy's fin had fully grown back and he was swimming around like it was never gone. We literally watched it grow back. Any negative reviews on this, is more than likely from people who used it incorrectly or have fish suffering from an issue that this is not used for. I would recommend this highly so long as it's used correctly. It didn't cause any water clouding, was totally easy to use with directions, and a normal color that didn't cause any crashes to tank or discoloration to my tank's water.

I have 2 beautiful Giant Albino Gouramis (8" and 6" long). One of them developed red patches on the side. In a week the scales on the patch started coming off leaving behind a dirty-looking greenish-gray bulge. The fins also seemed to be tearing away. Both Gouramis soon had white dots on their fins. And they stopped eating completely and started to sit down at the bottom of the tank. So, it looked like my fishes had multiple infections.
I ordered Pimafix along with Melafix. Used them both together for 7days as instructed on the bottle. It smells completely natural. It cause a bit of bubble formation on the water surface, but its okay. In 4days, the white dots were gone and the fins looked way healthier. By the 8th day, the greenish-gray bulge had gone completely with just a faint scar remaining. On the 9th day, they were visibly more active and started eating.
Only down side is the price. For 118ml, I paid INR.575. If you have a big tank, a 7 day treatment will easily finish off the bottle. Maybe its because, the label on the bottle says 'Made in USA'. The bottle is really sturdy. But the seal inside the cap was just namesake which made me suspect if it was...

WHAT IS PIMAFIX LIKE?
Pimafix is a natural extract of a plant in the myrtle family also known as West Indian Bay tree. It is a weak extract which helps nudge the water into a more healthy environment for the fish in certain instances. This comes in a bottle with a measuring cap on top. You use 5ml for every 10 gallons of water, and use daily for seven days, followed by at least 25% water change. The smell is a bit herby and the appearance is clear.

Bottle arrived without the cap and the protective seal broken, meaning that it leaked all over the box and everything else in it. Amazon replaced it for free and the replacement arrived with a cap and fully sealed.
On to the product itself...
I bought some fish recently and one of them had severe ick and a fungal infection that ate a big hole on the fish's side. Noticed the ick before the fungus so treated that with API Super Ick Cure which got rid of most of the ick but not all of it. Got this Pimafix and Melafix to treat the fungal infection and help heal the wound. Treated with both once a day for 7 days then did a 25% water change. The fungal infection is mostly gone and the wound is almost completely healed. The 2 ick spots that were left are almost gone too. Also, another fish had a tear in her top fin which healed practically overnight since she was in the tank being treated (left all the fish in to kill off anything I couldn't see just in case).
The water is still very cloudy even after the water change and replacing the filter.
Overall the product worked better than I expected (when used at the same time as Melafix, not sure how...
