Allison: only had this pack for around a month—the black pen's ink has already run out. i wasn't transcribing books with it or anything, so it's a little confusing that the most commonly used color is already gone. i can use the other color, but it's not like i can buy another pack just to replace one pen. it does limit how useful the pens are for me.

before that though, loved the pens. i use them whenever i can.

Dolores: I am using these on my 18 count Aida cloth for cross stitching. I mark the squares I currently want to do so that I don't have to keep going back to the chart. Once I've completed a large area, I just whisk my iron over it and the markings disappear. These are the best for something like this!

Paleo: These are my favorite pens. I prefer a thin barrel and thin ink line, and these are thin enough without becoming "scratchy". They also don't have any rattling sounds, as some of the click versions of these pens can have. I use them for Rocketbook products but everywhere else too. I just wish the packaging were more consistent - I have to check carefully to be sure that I'm getting the 0.5mm tip, because some of the 0.7mm are also described as "extra fine".

the dwarf: I make many mistakes writing and need something to use that I can erase. It is kind of difficult to see when writing with a pencil. These are bold, you can easily see them, and the best part is that I can erase if I have made a mistake. They erase completely, too. I wrote a bunch of stuff on a memo pad, and erased it. you could hardly tell the memo pad had been written on before.
I use them for my Bible as well as my Latin notes. These, if you have to erase, do not tear Bible pages.
I asked for these for Mother's Day, and am gonna ask Santa for more for Christmas. Love, love, love!

Also, and it's kinda fun, the ink disappears if heated, like with an iron or by the windshield on a hot day. My granddaughter uses them for sewing projects. To bring the ink back, just put the item in the freezer. I would think these would be great fun for kids to write notes to each other--kind of a modern day invisible ink.

Faizan K.: Just like the title says, they are the best, however, I noticed they changed the tips to a fatter version, it used to be a needle-thin which I preferred, so 4 stars, otherwise yeah nothing is really better when it comes to erasable pens.

C.A. Lache: LOVE this. It's been decades since the course white erasers I used to erase pen (and ultimately destroy lined paper) from the 90's. Everyone I've showed it to loves the idea. "It's like magic!" I have one on me all the time, and I bought 3 (red, blue and black) for note taking mastery.

I found a little trick to get a cleaner omission of errors: After you've clearly flubbed up, smear the ink with a swipe of your index finger. This 1. allows the ink to dry quicker which means you can erase it almost instantly without it smudging, and 2. reduces the ghosted haze of the mistake you clearly want to cover up. Yes, there is a ghosting as the ink turns clear and doesn't really disappear off the page. Like a pencil, pressure and residue will remain a reminder of your poor penmanship.

I'm working with an Elphinbook heat and water erasable notebook and it works like a charm. They were meant to be together. Pop the book in the nukebox or take a warm, damp cloth to the smooth paper. Poof! Erroneous Erradicus.

Holt: I love how the FriXion pens write and erase. When you erase with regular pencils, you end up with messy eraser all over. With the FriXion pens, there is little to no mess. The rubber tip is not suppose to "shed", but occasionally I noticed a little eraser like substance on my papers. Keep in mind that the ink disappears with heat. I have left my notes in the car on a really hot day, and the ink was very light when I returned. I was able to put the notes into the freezer, and the ink did darken up a bit. However, the notes I previously erased also showed back up.

The ink cartridges don't seem to always be good quality. I have bought packages of pens in .38mm, .4mm, .5mm, .7mm. So far each package has had at least 1 pen that didn't work from the beginning. Pilot's customer service tells you to place them in the freezer overnight and they should work in the morning. This hasn't worked yet on any of the 6 pens I tried. I have just been buying refill cartridges to replace the broken ones, which has worked well. For me the extra cost of the new cartridges is acceptable because I really love the pens.
