Pat F: I purchased this to protect my counter in front of my Air Fryer. i can now pull the basket out and set it down to stir or serve without worry. Perfect size, too. However, the ridges make it a bit difficult to keep clean. Since it was not made for what I am using it for, I can't complain. Works great.

tallhapa: Good price, certainly will do the job, no off smells. Wish there were more "nubs" and the rubber was softer, but its perfectly fine.

Spumante: UPDATE: I've been using this for slightly over 3.5 years now, which is a long time to be sure for a smaller purchase. Recently, a couple times now, I've rested a moderately hot pan on it for under a minute, and it's permanently squashed and whitened the affected ridges. There's one edge closest to the stove (though not directly touching anything hot), and that's lifted and warped quite a bit. Since this item is advertised as being heat resistant, I have to deduct a star.
I know this is for dishes, but I bought this because it was the perfect size to put next to the stove to catch all the errant grease and keep it from ending up on the bottom of every dish. It has done so beautifully, and now I only have to wash this mat once a month instead of wiping down the counter every time I fry anything.
It's not the easiest thing to wash - silicone doesn't let go of grease too easily - but the design is great for drips and splatters. It's also not its intended use case so I can't deduct points for that.
It also smelled really bad right out of the bag, but it went away after a day or so.

I bought this silicon mat for my small home business. It’s a great mat well-made for the price, but very disappointed that it looks like a faded orange does not look pink at all to me. Other than that I’m happy.
