F. Cizerle: The slits are perfect for drain plug to be tilted -- fitting in a slit in the mat -- so water can go down while the plug sits in the middle. It cleans well. I suggest scrubbing a bit every evening so nothing starts settling on the mats. I rinse ours well then stand them up tilted toward each other in one sink to dry. I used to get these from Bed, Bath & Beyond, but they no longer sell them. Like everything, price has increased -- but well worth it.

These look great even after years of use. Very sturdy and fit very well.

It would be nice to have a cut out for the strainer but still easy to lift even with cups or dishes on them.

kminko: I’ve tried other sink mats for years but none were really good for drainage, they had small rubber ribs on bottom that don’t really let water flow under them and get slimy. The top surface of these sits 9mm, maybe 1cm above the sink bottom and really does allow water do flow under easily. I had to round off the corners on mine using box knife/saw to get them to fit in my old small sinks, and they’re good heavy thick rubber so that was quite a task but worth it to me to have mats that really allow drainage, high priority for me, and they’re made of a hard rubber/plastic that will probably last a very long time. Expensive for sink mats, but worth the price for me.

MADPWR: This review is for OXO Good Grips Small Sink Mat, Gray. Overall, I like this mat. I like the concept of having space between the mat and sink so that dirt, water, and bacteria doesn't get caught between. I also like the way the feet are setup so that the foot is inside the leg, instead of the other way around, which would promote mold growth. There are somethings I wish OXO would do to make this mat better. First, I wish the entire piece was made of one single piece of material. This way there wouldn't be seems for bacteria or mold to eventually grow in. I haven't run across this issue yet, but anytime you have seams it is bound to happen. Second, I wish these were available in more sizes. It's a bit under sized for my main sink and too big for my smaller side sink. Overall, this has so far been the best sink mat that I have found.

MisunkiMisunki: Cercavo qualcosa di simile già da tempo ed appena ho notato questo prodotto ne ho ordinati subito due. Esteticamente si presentano molto bene, il materiale sembra molto resistente, rigido quanto basta. I piedini rialzati fanno scorrere bene l'acqua ed essendo posizionati sotto tutta la superficie del tappettino fanno sì che ci si possano appoggiare anche stoviglie pesanti senza che il tappettino si rompa o deformi. Unico neo che ho riscontrato è che sono leggermente più piccoli di ca 1 cm delle dimensioni dichiarate. Comunque un ottimo acquisto.

Eli86Eli86: Cercavo un tappetino per il lavandino inox della cucina che misura 70x40. Purtroppo non ho trovato nulla della misura che mi interessa, ma viste le recensioni di questo prodotto ho voluto provarlo abbinandolo ad un portaspugne in silicone per coprire la parte che resta scoperta (e che con altri tappetini si era rigata). I tappetini mi sembrano buoni, resistenti. Un po’ più rigidi di quel che mi aspettavo, ma non credo sia un problema…Sono presenti piedini antiscivolo che, in effetti, a lavandino asciutto impediscono ai tappetini di muoversi, ma a lavandino bagnato non hanno lo stesso grip.
Mi auguro solo che non assumano un brutto colore, come mi è capitato con altri, e che il lavandino sotto non resti sporco come promesso!
