lori borger: if you like buying quality..this is it. i'm sure there are good and similar products, but this is a very nice machine. we bought this size cause its small enough to leave on the counter.. if you have to schlepp it out, you won't use it. great for a couple, maybe not for a family.. love it to reheat things like pizza and fries. like a really great convection oven that doesn't have to warm up.. reheating pizza to crispy and cheesy in 4 to 5 minutes.

PA customer: We had not had an Air Fryer before but wanted to try it and wanted to get a good one the first time and not have to wish we had gotten a different one after trying it. We did a lot of research and reading of reviews of many and selected this Philips HD9741/96 for the two of us and ordered it along with 5 cook books. We first started with Brussel Sprouts that we get at our favorite pub BJ's and added as similar sauce and they were very good first try. Then we moved on to Idaho Potato Frys with no oil and salmon and the Kababs (both beef and chicken and veggies on separately as they take a longer then the meet) and everything is excellent. Highly recommend. Enjoy. My wife and I are in our 60 and 70 and had no experience perviously and are really enjoying this air fryer as a new evening meal addition.

YellowBird: I was surprised that with this model at least, the baking pan, splatter screen & grill pan are considered accessories. It advertises 'fry, bake, grill' -- but when you receive it, all you can do is fry. The baking pan & grill pan cost me another $68. I was a little annoyed by that. The user manual is one of the worst I have seen in a while. There is a table that lists available accessories by Model number -- and this model HD9741/96 -- is not even in the table, but six other models are. Then there is a labeled schematic of the device, but the corresponding list of what each numbered item is shows up finally 4 pages later...leading to lots of flipping back and forth. I also discovered, while trying to get the other accessories, that their website is a bit wonky too -- and I wound up having to call them, only to get someone who kept putting me on hold while SHE searched some website for answers -- and then finally had to email me later with the part numbers / place to order accessories.

These are just small customer user-friendliness things. But once I waded through it, the maiden voyage was roasted asparagus and then roasted carrots. So far, so good. This is a nice...
