Gold FishGold Fish: Excellent airfryer. I love it. Delivery on time, as scheduled. Everything is as described. Overall, I am very happy with this product. I cooked fries, chicken drum steaks and pork chops regularly - they all taste awesome
Cleaning is a breeze. I only have issues in cooking crepe so far. I prob should have done more research on what utenzil to place it on for best outcome - to be further tested. Otherwise, everything else turned out great so far. Highly recommended.

Amazon Customer: easy to use.
good for 2-3 people max.
like the oil capture feature.
the only reason for 4 stars versus 5 is the price, way overpriced for what you get; so it is good when you get it at a discount price.

LinSpokane: I found out on America’s Test Kitchen that Philips was at the front of air fryer technology. They rated it the best air fryer tested and I have to tell you I love this thing! The enclosed booklet with a table of food/time/temp recommendations is extremely helpful getting started!

R. Jamieson: I'm not in the habit of writing gushing reviews, especially about home appliances, but I must confess: we love our Philips Airfyer. We've been using the unit for three months now and are still blown away by the quality of the food it produces. We've cooked chicken, potatoes, fish (using the optional HD9940 grill pan), and are consistently impressed with food that is moist and juicy inside, crisp outside, and loaded with flavour. Cooking times are fast and clean up is pretty easy. The unit is large enough for two or three people but, if cooking for more, you may need to cook in multiple batches; consider a larger unit.
The fine print: The user manual says this unit should be supplied with a "splatter-proof lid", to use when cooking items that are small and prone fly out of the basket. Ours was missing, but Philips customer service was accommodating and shipped one immediately. The unit comes with a glossy book with tips and a few recipes, but the packaging promises free access to an app with lots of recipes; however, this isn't available in Canada for some reason. Customer service said they were aware and working on it. With lots of air fryer recipes available online, this...

Negative Nancy: Who thought it would be a good idea to have a massive plastic thing on the inside, where the heating happens? I get that the plastic has a high melting point but I just can't help but feel I'm seasoning the food with plastic fumes every time I use it. The tray also doesn't clip in very well into the basket. This feels like it was thrown together in a rush as part of a company hackathon challenge.
