Recently had an issue with it and even though it was out of warranty the Service Team was extremely helpful in solving the issue. Sent me step by step instructions that were very clear on how to troubleshoot the issue. The Service team endured numerous inquires from me and were extremely patient and consistent in the process. Amazon Customer: Upon arrival compressor rattled really bad and was extremely loud. Unless the unit was tilted 20 degrees it would not stop rattling. I replaced the unit with a NutriChef and side by side the difference in build quality was apparent. I am sure the Phiestina would work, but you take a gamble on whether you will receive a working unit due to the "cheap" build quality and how shippers handle packages.

Ed Taschner: We purchased this cooler to replace a similar NewAir cooler that failed after less than 4 years' service. We had never heard of Phiestina, but noticed that a lot of people seemed to like their coolers. So we took a chance.
After a couple weeks using this cooler ... we're quite happy with both the product and the company. It arrived sooner than promised, but suffered some internal cosmetic damage that was likely the result of a packaging error. Enter Phiestina Customer Service: They were technically knowledgeable and very, very helpful resolving our issue.
We are also pleased with the cooler itself. It has gotten our attention by being whisper quiet for a compressor unit and quite capable of cooling to precise temperatures quickly. We also note that the internal lighting is more subtle (and more useful) than the NewAir's bright light. Another plus for this cooler is the wire shelves. We like these because the NewAir's wood shelves absorbed wine spills and looked pretty ugly after awhile. Makes the inside of the cooler far more cleanable. All in all, we believe this cooler is far superior to our dead NewAir at similar cost.

MillieMillie: This is a quiet, well-designed, and attractive addition to our new bar. We selected this unit because it was dual-zone with stainless steel shelves (most are wood). My chief complaint is that it is minimally adjustable up 34”, leaving a 1/2” gap under our standard 36 inch countertop (there are brands that adjust up to 34.5 inches). Also, it takes a long time to cool. I can’t attest to the unit’s longevity, as we just received it. My review is based on my initial experience described above.

Update: I called Amazon 3 days after receiving it because both zones would not drop below 60 degrees F. I opted to have the unit replaced with a new one, as I like the unit. As always, Anazon was helpful. Have had the new unit now for one month. It cools quickly to the desired temperatures and is quiet. I’m happy for now and hope it lasts.
