Haidin: I left the rubber covers on, unfortunately they fall off super easy so super glue them if you want them to stay. Works great for my pitbull! Got a large but probably could have gotten a medium.

FrequentEShopper: This large was too large, for my large dog. My dog is 90 lbs. I had to remove too many links to be effective. Also the black rubber covers come off easily and cannot be used on the first link as it is needed to put on and take off the collar. Quality seemed good for the price.

Dave: Was actually a size larger than we thought, but worked out anyway and were probably keeping it. Prong collars are a great training/teaching walking collar. I have 3 pit-mixed dogs, all of them walk like idiots w/o prong collar (tried plenty collars throughout the years even harnesses) but with prongs, they are obedient and walk how and where I want them to. On our walks I make sure to have them just walk to get their energy out, but I also let them smell the grass, flowers, fire hydrants etc. with prongs on whatever kind of walk we’re on, they know left, right, stop, stay, good dogs, 3 seconds left to smell, keep moving, amongst others. Dogs are only as smart as their owners. I am a responsible and smart dog owner/walker
Prong collars are the best
People who say they are cruel are uneducated and shall I say ignorant

Etobicoke Canada Resident: Ok... I have three dogs and I had it with 2 of them. I was getting over the flu and had also thrown my back out. But I needed to get my 3 dogs out for a walk. 2 of them are just terrible trying to out do each other talking the lead and pull like crazy.
So, I knew what I was in for and in my pain I took them out anyways. I tried and tried to subdue them with patience. Nope, nothing. I lost it on them, but that didn't work wither. Nothing worked and it was so painful on my back.
Fast forward... when I got home, I immediately went ahead and bought two of these pinch collars.
They arrived on time, as promised, in fact earlier than promised
It is magical... THEY WORKED LIKE A CHARM...!!!
FYI... It’s now April and we are still going strong. My two dogs have no problem wearing them and the chokers continue to keep them from pulling. Occasionally, I must give the leashes a tug if they see another dog or squirrel. It keeps them in line.

tien: I literally just got this today, my dog is a great dane mix thats been dragging me all over the yard...nearly impossible to walk him. I just came back in from a leisurely walk.........with my dog..his behavior is like night and day compared to before. wow...totally recommend this collar if you have a dog that is hard to train or control..once he figured out that if he pulls it doesnt feel good it stopped right away. I was able to get him to heel and stop on voice command ... he was so well mannered that a neighbor that wasnt able to approach him before was comfortable in actually petting him. Its made walking him fun....not a chore..thanks to whoever invented this. Update week 2 and the change in my ability to control my Dane is beyond amazing. He focuses on listening to me, plus he is learning new commands at rapid pace (I'm sure that will variable with each dog) but he's enjoying his walks now that he knows what I need him to do (other collars to me give mixed messages- this collar doesn't and he's not in pain or uncomfortable with it - he gets excited when I get it out because he knows we are going to train and have a fun walk or jog) buying it was the best thing ever-

Elizabeth Trotter: This is the most effective collar/harness at controling my 9 month husky from pulling. We tried multiple different types of harnesses/collars and even the halti head collar. None of them worked. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because you need to be careful. If your dog is a maniac and decides if he can't pull he's going to leap and twirl in circles somehow it can loosen the links and they can snap apart and the collar will fall right off. This just happened this morning luckily as we walked in the house. So we will be walking from now on with a leash on this collar and a backup on his harness.

mll: Works great on my shepherd. She does not pull at all, so no need to feel bad about the prongs going in. The plastic covers are a joke and worthless. The ends of the prongs are cut and not rounded off, so that stinks. I know it was designed to have the plastic bits, but those fall off easily. I took mine off right away. The chrome plating isn't the best, so we will see how long it lasts. For sure a disposable item. That being sad the price is right, and as far as training goes, great success

christ: Work right from the start. My dog is already 7 years old but I always had problem walking her. She always want to pull. After several, "No", "Back up", and many pull on the leash, she was getting better but every minute I had to repeat my no back up and little pull on the leash for her to get back beside me. With this tools, no need to say anything, no need to pull on the leash, nothing. She does follow me like a pro. And if for some reason something get her attention, a little (and when I say little I really mean a tiny little pull with my wrist) will get her back in line. She does not seam to mind the collar at all. It does not seem to hurt her either. It doesn't choke her, it only remind her that she has to keep her attention on me.
