Dire_Wolf: I had ordered a medium brass 'framed' dog tag from the seller. The description stated that the tag was "framed in plastic". When I think of something being framed I think of just the edges of the item being covered. On this dog tag it looks like they took the tag and pressed it into a piece of colored plastic so the edges and full backside of the tag are covered in colored plastic not just the edges like the description imply s. That being said, I have no problem with this. it actuality makes the tag a lot less noisy if you have multiple tags on the same ring due to the back being coated entirely in plastic.
The tag itself has a real nice heft to it, feels like its a quality piece of metal though the ring they sent with it is garbage. I would recommend going to a hardware store and getting a heavier ring to attach the tag to the collar with.
One more thing is if you are putting multiple numbers on your tag make sure you let the manufacture know what phone number is the main number and what phone number is the secondary number. The reason I say this is I had my dogs name, his address with city and state, and two phones numbers engraved on the tag. One of the phone...
