Diana MDiana M: I ordered 2 x-sm tags to fit a 3/8in collar for my cats. They are indoor cats, but I do take them outside on a harness so I wanted some kind of ID should the worst happen. I plan to use their collars for outdoor trips/ vet visits, and in case for emergency situations (and would suggest that all pet owners have ID, even if they don't wear them 25/7).
Product wise, it came in a timely manner, seems durable, not easy to get off, comfortable for pets, and the engraving is deep. It is shiny, so reading from a distance is unlikely but I would think any tag on a moving animal would be. My main concern was that they don't look like strays and if caught (assuming the collar stays on) people will have my info.
I'm leaving this review mostly for other cat owners, as I spent some time deciding what I should get. These tags don't interfere with my playful 1yr olds and fit well on a small collar. However, due to the small tag I would suggest you limit what you put on there as the print is small. I chose to put their names (and in one case a nickname), my number, and "indoor cat" as they are not chipped. Michael S.: I have an Invisible Fence, the collars of which don't have rings to attach tags. I wasn't comfortable with that. What if the fence fails, or pooch escapes and can't get back in? These tags are the perfect solution for Invisible Fence collars, or any other collar, for that matter. They slip snugly on the collar. The engraving is deep and quite legible and with less opportunity for abrasion, I expect them to last a very long time. They don't make the jangling noise hanging dog tags do and with two dogs, there is less temptation for the dogs to tug on each other's tags, potentially pulling them off. No more relying on those flimsy wire rings to hold the tags securely to the collars. The design is sleek and simple, complimenting their beautiful Lupine Pet collars. Be sure to get the right tag size for the collar width you are using to avoid loose fitting tags that could fall off. After a lot of thought I went with the following text, which fit neatly on the tag while still being legible:

DIY Mom: Love this, won't ever buy a dangling tag again or one with cheap laser typography.
This is like the commercial version of the animal I'd tag, the kind of long term item that a company would buy to cut costs because you only need to buy it once unlike the cheap retail products most of us have access to.
I hope my cat doesn't ditch her elastic collar for a long time because this tag will out last her if she keeps it on.
They did take a while to get it out to me, wish I didn't have to wait as long, but that's because we can get everything in life so quickly these days. I am willing to wait for a real, custom, quality piece when warranted. But if you need a tag fast, order elsewhere and then replace it later with a real tag like this one.
I also didn't format my tag like they have shown, I put my pets name, second line was "has a family" then phone number then "I kill rats". My cat is indoor and outdoor and had been adopted by someone for a week. She went missing. I put up posters and that night she shows up at my door all bathed, ears cleaned and smelling like soap.
