Mary R. Demmler: I bought this ink after receiving a fountain pen as a gift from a friend and she had filled it with her own ink. I love the blue green color as well as the smooth way it writes with the pen. I asked her what she used and she sent me the information for this ink. I have ink from other companies and like the way this one feels.

FlowerChild: Lovely ink. Writes well. The right amount of wet/dry. Currently using it in both a platinum curidas (f) & a pelican twist (m) & it writes well in both. Beautiful color & flows nicely. It has not clogged up my nibs.

EURICO A A CORREIA: Essas tintas da linha Edelstein são minhas preferidas de longa data. A desvantagem é o preço o qual aumentou muito após os reajustes no valor do dólar. Mas, como um frasco de tinta dura bastante vale a pena o investimento. A tonalidade da cor chega próxima ao preto, porém se observar com cuidado é um azul bem escuro e misturado com o preto. As cores azul/preto da própria Pelikan não fazem jus a esta que é muito mais profunda e suave para a escrita.

Drosophila Melanogaster: I bought this ink for its beautiful color — it's suitable for work, but still distinctive. I've been impressed with its consistent performance in all of my pens: It flows nicely and creates lovely shading without being too wet. It dries pretty quickly too and does okay even on cheap copier paper (some bleeding, but not terrible). Like most blues and dye-based inks, it's not very water resistant. But that's about the only caveat i can think of. It's a great value considering the large size of the bottle, and i won't hesitate to buy it again.

Karl: This is a very nice blue, I am just not convinced it is worth the premium price or else it would have gotten all five stars. If you are into blue inks, you will like this one. It is really pretty much in the middle of the road as far as darkness is concerned. Smooth in my pens, no clogging etc. Drying time (medium nib, Rhodia paper) is rather long +25 seconds. On copier paper, drying time 1-2 seconds. On a medium nib, there is very little shading (if any). Flow has been very good for me. This is my standard ink on a 30+ year old Parker 25 that always had either some flow or some leak issues, and for the first time, the pen behaves well with this ink. If I don't use the pen for a week, it is a bit slow to start up, but I have found that if I use the pen every few days, startup is no issue.

Very good ink, should be 30% cheaper to get 5 stars.
