Amazon Buyer: It's NOT silent, which is the fundamental requirement for a bedside clock. The mechanism driving the revolving second-hand grinds away at a low rumble, too loud in a quiet room while trying to sleep.
Moreover, the body of the clock is unstable. Because the clock slopes back rather than sits upright, when you hit the snooze button on top, the clock falls over backwards and goes flying.
Retuning the defective unit is an ordeal, because, while the shipper acknowledges their obligation to pay return shipping for a "defective" unit, they don't believe the clock should be classified this way.
Save yourself unnecessary bother and find another clock... and another seller.
