NPC: perfect diameter for bead stringing. Hard to tie off but I used a fishing knot with some superglue which did the trick.

Graphic Fusion: First: The listing says a spool has 196 feet of string. It doesn't. It's just short of 150 feet.
This elastic string is really tough. Seems to be vinyl?. It will take a really strong tug without breaking. It stretches to about 1.5 times its relaxed length. The real puzzler was how to tie a knot. It seems impossible unless you pull the knot really tight (seemingly excessively so). It will not hold more complicated knots that are more difficult to pull tight, like a bowlin or even a square knot. However, it will easily hold a half hitch or a figure-8 knot. It's possible to make a good slip knot by capturing a length of string inside a figure-8 knot (and pulling it REALLY tight). I'm sure other knots are possible too.
Overall, it's not quite what I expected, but it's interesting stuff (a quality product), and I've figured out how to make it do what I need it to do.

Amazon Customer: This product was too large for the beads and the string did not fit in the beads. Also, as it was thick, I could not make knots.
