PAXCESS Automatic Pool Cleaner with Upgraded Technology

Saraheva: Update: Super happy with this product but it stopped working at 3 months. Waiting for the manufacturere to replace some parts. :(

I was super skeptical cause of the price but I’m actually impressed with this! There are a few cons that I don’t like but can work around.
1- I have a 16x32 pool and I have to run it almost every morning to keep up with the leaves and dirt.
2- it takes forever to charge- it’s usually not a good charge unless I leave it overnight
3- it only last about 90 minutes so being that I have a large pool it won’t get every area
4- I have noticed as time goes by, it gets harder and harder to sink to the bottom. I’m having to shove it as far and as forcefully as I can so it hits the bottom. I thought for sure that it was broken the first time it did this it started floating back and forth on the surface!

All in all it DOES pick everything up. We have thick mud around it right now and when it rains it goes right in the pool, this guy does a great job! So I am happy that I don’t have to lug out the hose and vacuum to do it myself. Hope he lasts! Lol

Amazon Customer: I have a 10,000 gallon kidney shaped pool. Shallow side is 3.5 feet deep. Deep side is 6 feet deep. The bottom isn't flat and it curves up on the sides from bottom to top.

I'm experienced with maintaining a pool. I have a System 3 diatomaceous earth filter that has 53 sq ft of filter space. Run the pump 12 hours a day at 2200rpm to achieve balance between energy usage and turning the pool over (happens about every 3 hours according to the math).

I loath hauling out my pole, sweeper, filter canister, and connecting all of this to the pump via the skimmer to vacuum the floor and sides of my pool. Take too long, too many nuances. Been doing it this way for decades. I figured technology could make it easier for me. Aside - I don't use an auto vacuum since I have dogs that swim all the time. Don't want them to catch a hose and drown.

The main things that litter my floor are dog hair, sand / crushed granite from nearby paths, material from the roof of my house, leaves from many trees, and DE powder from when I spray the filters after vacuuming (backs out thru the line).

Sandra: We did everything wrong - we charged it in the ON position and we turned it ON - BECORE we put it in the water - the 2 things you ate Not Supposed to do- it still worked to our relief we did not ruin it
It takes about 4-5 hrs to charge and runs happily for 2-3 hrs in the pool. By turning each of the dials on the ends you can vary the back up turn circle of the robot and we generally get a pretty good clean radius of the pool in 2 cleaning cycles. We don’t have many trees but we had a deck built so the pool got dirty. This is a reliable little robot and worth the $.
It’s good for picking up sticks, bugs and rocks and harder type debris. We lasted for months just using the robot waiting for our filtering system to be installed without too much distress until the last hot week of the summer.
I would buy it again for sure.

Trevor: Took too long to clean the pool had to charge and re-charging takes 6 hours! Also this unit did not clean the whole pool as promised, even after adjusting the settings many different ways; the cover for the charging prongs is not tight enough therefore it corroded and now is rendered unusable and one of the prongs even fell off! Poor design and poor service (non-existent) will never purchase an expensive item again from Amazon.

EM: First off, don't let 4 stars throw you off. Too many people rate things 5 and 1 stars for stupid reasons and I think that's unfair. 1 star to me means that the product sucks in every way possible. 5 stars means it is the greatest thing ever put on earth. This product is definitely neither. It's not perfect but I think it's fantastic.
I bought this pool cleaner because the other name brand one I had for years finally died and the replacement price is ridiculous. So while searching Amazon this one came up. The price was half of what I was getting ready to spend. I had concerns, mostly because it was battery operated but I went for it. My previous cleaner was one connected to my pool wall and run by the filter. It cleaned well but would get stuck in spots and after some time made a lot of white streaks on the pool plaster.
So, I decided to try this product that my daughter immediately named Pac-Man. So far we love it. Been using for about 4 months or so. Our pool is "kidney shaped" and about 16,000 gallons so not big. All of the corners are rounded with no straight walls.
Living in the Las Vegas desert the wind blows alot. We have a few large trees that shed all year long so...

gregtulum: Es lo mejor cosa que compre para limpiar mi alberca.Es increible como es facil y rapido a limpiar. No necesito los mangueras y todo para limpiar, ahorita solamente le dejo en mi alberca y 1 hora y media esta lista. Tiene que cargar por casi 5 horas cada vez y dura 1 hora y media por limpiar pero esta una cosa excelente para mi alberca!!
