Barb Aguiar: This takes an amazing amount of hair off my Golden Retriever. It also works well on detangling matts, which mean we don't have to cut them out.

Daria: This rake was recommended to me and it’s excellent. It does a great job at removing the rough hairs from my Brussels Griffon. I had never used a rake before and was very gentle. I really couldn’t believe how much hair it removed. His coat was shiny and soft afterwards.

Lisa: Good product. I used it on my cats and it took a lot of the excess fur away, leaving them silky smooth. Works well on my dog too. Good quality.

Virginia PettipasVirginia Pettipas: I ordered this brush for my NewfyPoo (NewfyDoodle aka Newfoundland X Poodle) and it’s amazing. The amount of fur it brushes out is amazing. I brush the dog pretty well every day and only get maybe a small handful of fur with other brushes, but with this I get every tangle and every loose fur, and about a head size amount of fur! It brushes out so much fur, and he doesn’t seem to mind this brush at all. Other brushes he wants nothing to do with, but this one he just lays there and let’s you brush as long as you want. For anyone with a Newfoundland Dog (or any mix of), this is the brush to get!

Jennifer: After using the furminator, I was skeptical that there could be another product that compares. This tool was far superior to the furminator in every way. When brushing, the fur clumped together rather than creating flying fluff balls everywhere in the room. The fur was easy to collect and dispose of, much more so than the furminator. The brush does not drag or pull across my dogs coat, making it much more comfortable and relaxed, resulting in longer grooming sessions to get up his undercoat. The tool feels sturdy and well made. I have a golden retriever mix who sheds significantly. I am very pleased with the results of this brush and I think he is too!

ian: when i inquired as to where this is made, (from ? community, not mfg) the answer was "USA" the package says "made in Taiwan" i am trying to avoid chinese made products. that said, i needed to de shedd my dog who is very picky about brushing, hates it, shedds, since it was in my hand i decided to try it. seems to work well, the curved angle on the skin doesnt hurt my girl and she puts up with it, doesnt scrape the skin. seems to do the job, need to work with it a little more to be sure, but she isnt whining or running from me as she does with bristle brushes. would have given 5 stars if made in USA. seems to be well constructed for chinese product, i would not have ordered if i was told it is made in china.

Ronald Gary Wyse: AMAZING!!!!! The best! We have 2 Australian Shepards currently, a 3 and 1 year old. We also had one prior. In all of the years we have fought with trying to get out the undercoat. Our 3 year old is a hair bear! I looked at reviews and looked at many videos on You Tube. I debated doing the short clipper cut this year as I was desperate and in all of the years struggled with not being able to efficiently remove the undercoat. Of course the goal was to cool the dog down by removing the winter coat. I found a video that said NO, DO NOT clipper cut your dog. The trick is to remove the undercoat.. The PawsPamper Extra Wide undercoat rake, 20 tooth is the answer to my prayers. Thank you Amazon for selling this item and for the description and reviews. You use short strokes and the undercoat easily comes out. The teeth are rounded on the ends so you do not need to worry about scratching the dogs skin like a slicker or other metal tooth brushes and combs do, but again this tool is BEYOND AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I find it odd that it is not sold in pet stores to my knowledge, but it is the most important grooming tool you can have. We were skeptical if it really worked. WOW, from...

Amazon Customer: I have three dogs, one is a shep/husky mix, another coonhound/shep mix, and chihuahua/pug mix. The two bigger ones leave a LOT of hair and I was vacuuming every day just to keep up with the hair tumbleweeds. I tried a couple of the regular brushes and even the glove and they worked okay, but the hair was flying all over. A co-worker of mine suggested this product to me and I have to say it works fantastic. It takes the matted knots out with ease, I have less tumbleweeds flying all over, it is gentle on the dogs and they love it. The hair that comes out as you brush stays in the combs so you can easily dispose of it. I also used to have to hold them while I brushed them but with this, they see me coming and lay down and will move around a bit for me to get certain spots and don't want me to stop. Matter of fact they fight over who goes first! Highly recommend this product.
