VG: This brush is great and it’s more affordable than the furminator which is rather costly. I used it on a German shepherd and a chihuahua and it works great so great for all sizes. It has a nice grip too.

Martha: Sturdy handle and perfect to coomb out any tangles on my Golden. My dog loves getting brushed and this takes out any loose hair and leaves him soft and silky. Will buy again... metal bristles are great quality.

Marnie G.: This is an amazing grooming tool for labs! All the undercoat comes right out in just a couple of strokes without pulling thanks to the rotating bristles. Even the matted bits that seem to never come out no matter how much you try with other tools. Saves so much time and the dog likes it much better too. I LOVE IT! Wish I had tried this years ago. LisaLisa: Just received today, and was surprised to see the teeth bent or crooked right out of the box, brand new. I've used traditional Furminators in the past without issue, but needed this type for our 8 pound Pomsky (Pomeranian Husky mix). She has a super plush, long, THICK coat (like you'd expect from a Husky or Pom!) and looks like a tiny Husky. Shedding season came early this year (late July) and it's all undercoat!!! It's her first shed, so I'm hoping it won't be so severe once she's 2+ years old, but we'll see. My expertly educated cousin who has a Husky Malamute mix recommended this type of rake and said NEVER to use a traditional Furminator on a Husky type coat or any dog with a thick undercoat or plush coat, because it cuts the guard hairs, which don't grow back so quickly or easily! While the traditional Furminator works on my traditional/spaniel coated Pekingese (she doesn't have the show type coat), and my adult daughter's Boxer Pit mix (super short coat), it will never be used on my other kids Pomsky!

It works very well! First pic is bent teeth! See my second pic for undercoat removal (after only a minute or two of brushing) of the Pomsky!

Holy smokies, this Furminator tool is AMAZING! We had the old version with the flat, close-in pins (for long-haired dogs), and while it worked, our dog wanted nothing to do with it.

I broke this out of the packaging, let him sniff it, went to work on his coat, and was immediately impressed by how well this worked--without needing to add pressure or tug at tangles!

*PROS:
- Easy to use (again, without adding pressure)
- The "rotating" pins really seemed to help move tool smoothly through the coat (no catching and pulling hair to cause discomfort)
- Works on mats and smaller tangles with little effort (might have to start at the bottom for the bigger ones)
- Pins are long enough to get through our golden's coat and massage his skin
- Rounded pin tips prevented discomfort from scrapes and scratches
- One tool does it all for us! Brushing, massage, deshedding...

*BONUS: He was wagging his tail and staying still while I went to work, even when I attacked his neck/chest beard and ears! I collected handful after handful of...
