Amazon Customer: As soon as I opened this brush up I used it on my dogs. I have two labs. The black lab has longer hair and the chocolate lab has shorter hair. I have had a furminator for years and it has not worked well on my chocolate lab but was decent with the black lab. The first time I used this brush on my chocolate lab I got so much underneath hair it was amazing. My husband even said that it worked well as we never get as much hair off her as we did tonight. I highly recommend this!

Jasmine Hickok: I've got a dog who's fluffy as can be, so I got this to hopefully get her undercoat better. This brush does great to get fur off of her, getting deep in there. However, if your animal has sensitive skin that dies do well with pulling, be careful. I have to go reaaal slow to keep from pulling. Animals run around and get their fur tangled, so it takes a bit to get it smoothed out. Due to my dog having sensitive skin, it pulls a lot and hurts her until I get it smoothed out.
