(He is about 12-13 years old now...since she’s a rescue we are not certain of his exact age). In the last several years, Tyke began getting super sensitive to high pitched sounds (beeps on tv shows, scrapes of silverware on plates, even the beep of a low battery alert on a smoke detector 😞) It would drive him to hide in any small space he could find in the house. We tried Solequin which helped for a bit but we ultimately had to put Tyke on medication — it was THAT bad!. One medication put him to sleep. Then we found clonazepam. He had to take 2mg, twice a day to act normal again. The only problem was, the clonazepam makes Tyke ravenous!! So I wanted to search for something to pair with it so maybe we could get him to just one clonazepam per day. I found Calm Pup. Low and behold, we also had a new puppy in the house with separation anxiety so I thought this could work for both of them - so I tried it. One chew for Gina (our 30lb Heeler mix) and 2 chews for Tyke who is 40lbs. After about a month or 2, I tried taking away Tyke’s afternoon clonazepam and we’ve never gone back to it. He’s done...

KellyKelly: My sweet dog (found as a stray 3 years ago) is very timid and scared of new people and situations, and she truly 100% hates car rides. She cant even go 5 miles in the car without throwing up. I've given her every type of prescription drug and used every type of holistic treatment with no luck. My vet recommended using a treat with L-tryptophan on a regular basis, and I have had minor success using valerian root and chamomile with my dog in the past, so when I found these treats I decided to give them a try.
Flash forward, I've been giving my dog 2 of these every morning (they must taste great because she takes them like a treat and always wants more!) for the past month or so and she has definitely calmed down a bit. Even my husband has commented on how good she is doing, and when she does get worked up, it's been easier to calm her down than it had been in the past.
When it comes to car rides, she still throws up, but I've started giving her 2 the night before a long ride and then 2 that morning, plus a meclizine tablet (motion sickness OTC) and she has gone from throwing up non stop to once and done. It's awful when we cant figure out what to do to help our babies,...

Reina Garcia: I'm on the fence about this product. It might work. It might not. I'm not entirely certain. We have a 45 lb husky with severe anxiety. We give her one supplement twice a day. Supplements are recommended one per 25 lbs. Initially saw some improvement in her behavior. She seemed to like the flavor, we didn't have to coat them in anything to get her to eat them. After 2 months of use, it doesn't seem to have had much of an effect. She doesn't seem to like them anymore, we have to dip them in peanut butter to get her to eat them. Also, the second batch we ordered was a different consistency than the first. First was soft and moist, second was more dry and brittle.
End of the day, I'm not sure if this product helps, but it doesn't hurt.

Alex Knudsen: These little chews have done wonders for our four year old basset hound. She was struggling with the new addition, another basset pup, for many reasons, but we found our 10/11 year old more willing to play than she was. So we started her on this for many reasons; first was we thought it might calm her nerves with the new girl. Second, the health benefits of hemp and CBD oil to the system.
It turns out it was a very smart thing to do! We noticed a difference in her desire to play, not exactly her energy level as a whole (she’s our lazy girl) but she was more willing to play. All the more so when we ran out and forgot to reorder for a while. The effect was almost immediate.
Now, this may not be a review about the ultimate calming effects of this product, but I can say it has been beneficial in getting our middle basset into the swing of being more playful. Whether that is because it makes her feel better, or more calm, I can’t fully say. Regardless, this product has worked wonders for the family as a whole, and everyone enjoys each other a lot more thanks to a nightly dose of these delicious chews.
I should note, our four year old basset hound we give these...
