M. Renee Kent: I put it on the cat then put the cat in the carrier for trips to vet. Just in case I have open the carrier during transport I have some way holding the cat. Years ago a cat made a mess in the carrier on the way home. I had to get off the trolley and clean it out with newspaper. I didn't have a harness and leash set but fortunately THAT cat stayed put in a noisy subway trolley stop as I cleaned out the cage.
This set will give me some amount of control with my new cats than nothing at all.

AnonAnon: So my younger kitty (left on the photo) is a little nudist and had gotten into the habit of taking her break-away collar off. I wouldn't mind if she didn't try to race me out the front door, so i purchased this lovely harness set. They are NOT break-away so she has been keeping her 'clothes' ever since. I doo keep it fairly loose on her so she is comfortable and after the first hour, she has been completely fine with it.

adw004: Product is just a little stiff and the connector may be too long for my (approximately) 6mo old cat. It may loosen up tho. The intricate moons and stars are cute but not too over the top

Johnny: Is little Sparky and escape artist? He walked a long way home with us. Instantly smitten we took him in. As a new housecat we wondering if he longed for the days of yore with freedom to explore, hunt lizards, and avoid our local armadillos? No longer a stray, we asked our vet and she thought a harness and daily walks was a great idea. We compared this Pawchie vs. the also popular Rabbitgoo and Avccava. Since we live in a warm climate, we first eliminated the sweater-like Avccava. Tough call when it comes to comparing the simpler and lighter Pawchie vs the more substantial Rabbitgoo. Read on:
Both are sturdy and the Pawchie is no doubt easier to get on and off. At first my wise daughter feels that the partial vest style of Rabittgoo provided a little more escape prevention. Cat rejected! This one is lighter and less cumbersome. If you know your pet is relatively docile, Pawchie is the one!
Our vet suggests letting your pet wear a harness for a full day before venturing out. However, we nixed the idea since we don’t yet know Sparky’s full “bathroom” habits and didn’t want him playing around too much in the litter box while wearing it.
