Judy: My grandchildren liked P. Picklebottom “Longest Wait” so I ordered this one. Not quite as entertaining as the first book but still cute. Very well illustrated.

RR: I loved it so much, I read it twice to my son when we received it today. We are working on him sitting through an entire story and he sat through my reading it to him 2 times. It was wonderful to see him actually following along and looking intently at the illustrations. He is nonverbal and at times it is difficult to gauge his interest or even reach him at all. I can’t wait to read it with him again tonight.

Carol: What a great story! I really like the fact that in a world with all the technology available, Patrick finds everything (that the others feel like they're finding) by spending a penny and using his imagination. A beautiful story that all grown-ups should read and discuss with their children!

Sarah A: I thought this book was great, I loved the rhyming story and illustrations. The only downside for me was, being from the U.K., it was based in American English which my kids are not used too and therefore I would need to explain that a ‘cent’ is like our ‘penny’ etc

Marilyn Sitar: This story will speak to anyone who is a lifelong lover of books and reading. In this day and age, with many things (screens included) competing for the attention of our children, this story shows how important the love of reading is to the main character. And the illustrations perfectly compliment the story. Highly recommend!
