MonKilla: Con este producto simplemente tienes que poner desengrasante e introducir la cadena. Después girando el pedal de la bici y sujetando este producto se va limpiando la cadena. De esta forma vas a dejar tu cadena mas limpia que haciendolo manualmente

Angolaron: It's easy to use and very durable, compared with other similar products. Unfortunately, it also costs more but... "you get what you pay for."

Jonathan Peter Clark: So I've been a bit old school up until now and taken the chain off my bike and soaked it in degreaser and then scrubbed it with a toothbrush. This is a technique that works well, but it's a bit labour intensive and time consuming. I've always considered these chain cleaners to be a bit gimicky but I decided to go ahead and buy one. I was quite surprised by the results. It did a good job of cleaning the chain, perhaps not quite as good as my manual method, but close enough. I run the chain through 2 lots of the Weldite Citrus Degreaser and then afterwards through several lots of warm water until I stop collecting debris. The sump, which has a magnet mounted underneath, collects the debris which you can clear by pulling the magnet off and then flushing it out. I use this all the time now to keep my chains clean.

Alberto: E' il primo lavacatena che adopero, quindi nessun confronto, tant'è vero che la mia recensione risulterà il più concreta possibile.
Punti a favore:
1. Smontaggio della catena non richiesto, evitando l'usurare della falsa maglia
2. Pulizia al coperto per chi non hanno a disposizione un giardino privato ed una gomma d'acqua. Non bagna in giro e ci si bagna poco.

Punti a sfavore:
5. Il manico...

Ryan: I talk about this tool to people like it cures blindness. Ironically you need to see this in action too. I’ve used it about 20x now and have not lost any bristles nor have any problems with the plastic warping. You absolutely get what you pay for in comparison to other cheaper competitors. I don’t buy anything but Park Tools by any means, but you have to go with this over those. It will pay you back in time. I run the chain through it once, then clean out the cleaner and sponge and run it through once more with diluted simple green. I don’t remember exactly, so don’t quote me, but I believe Park Tool says that you can also use warm water and heavy-duty dish soap if you don’t have “their chain cleaner.” At the very least, I can tell you not to run any strong chemicals through it to bring life into a cosmetically challenged chain. Remove the chain and soak it in a separate container, so you don’t ruin the tool. Soo much more manageable and cleaner than cleaning the chain with a brush, although I do go behind the chain cleaner because there’s always a small bit of gunk in between the links' faces. It’s nothing to cry about; I’m just a tad bit anal and very...

Matt: After 3 months of using it a couple times per week, it is falling apart. The part that holds the magnet to the bottom broke. Both clips that hold the upper and bottom halves together fell off. It does do a great job cleaning (I use it with Purple Power degreaser or Simple Green) but I expected better durability/longevity from a Park Tool product. Submitted a warranty claim to Park Tool -- waiting to hear back.

UPDATE: After only a couple days Park Tool got back to me, and is sending a replacement. Awesome. Changing review to 5 stars because Park Tool stands by their product, and maybe I was a little too rough with it. Here is what Park Tool said:
"Thank you for using our products and your inquiry/image.

Great to see you are using your chains scrubber to its full potential!

Sorry the housing has cracked/fractured around the pin-latch/magnet of your chain scrubber.

We will send a replacement CM-5.2 Chain Scrubber to you at the address below.

Please save any internal components from yours and recycle the rest.

The housing can be damaged during assembly or when the cleaner gets caught in a sprocket and the magnet is permanently...

Rob: As the headline says, i bought this for cleaning the chain on my electric bike. Ive used it twice now and its pretty easy to use, instructions are clear, the unit seperates into two main components which you fit around the chain and then use the brackets on the cassette to clamp shut.

You can use a cleaner in the cassette which sits in a little tank on the underside of the cleaner. Once all this is done all you have to do is hold the unit with one hand and then use the other hand to back pedal or free wheel. Unfortunately i have an electric bike which does not back pedal/freewheel.

This means that in order to run the chain through the cassette, which is needed to clean the chain, i have to either lift the bike with one hand so the rear wheel is off the floor enabling forward pedalling, the back wheel then turns meaning the chain runs through the cassette as it should, but i am also pedalling with the other hand so the cassette is left to sit on the chain with no support - this is pretty difficult but not impossible to do and so far ive been able to just manage it as the clips on the cassette are fairly robust - or i hold the cassette whilst someone else lifts the...

J. Hurley: Works very well. This is among the highest rated chain cleaners on Amazon as you've probably noticed. This type of device is the best automatic, fast way to clean your bicycle chain. I'm not too impressed with the hold-up of interior components inside it as they seem to be quite worn after just a few uses. The foam padding on the right side that helps to guide and polish your chain as you use the device seems to be peeling already. Not a major peel, but a peel nonetheless.

I had read of some units that have plastic clamps that break. This one has metal clamps and Park Tool is a quality, trusted brand by all industry professionals in cycling. They don't always have the best product but they always have at least a very good one that's quality and this is no exception.

It's cleaned my bike chain very well so far and hasn't leaked at all. The magnet in the unit intended to catch any metal shavings or other things as you clean the chain is a nice touch and works well, too. I use Simple Green which I buy by the gallon here on Amazon and mix it 1:1 with water to put into this device. Works like a champ!

ngrossman: I recently purchased this product thinking I was getting a great deal for a name brand item. When it arrived, I was surprised and a little taken back to discover it

1) Was shipped from China complete with Chinese writing on the package
2) Was not the name brand "Park Tool"

The packaging was simple enough with pictures serving as the directions as everything was written in Chinese. Usage was straight forward, but it took me a couple of tries to realize I had the thing on the chain wrong. The assembly of the brushes inside is a little tricky too. I found myself trying to put the top on and brushes kept falling out until I finally realized I had the thing upside down. I haven't used a chain scrubber before, so maybe it's just me being a newb. I also, therefore, can't compare the relative effectiveness of this scrubber compared to others. The most I can say is: it seemed to work. I had ridden through some grass this summer and hadn't actually cleaned my chain since I bought the bike back in February. I had also put some 3-in-1 oil on the chain which, I found out later, wasn't a good idea as it tends to collect grime more than bike-specific lubricants. This scrubber...
