colleen gregg: Thin for writing. Was hoping due to the felt tip they'd be similar to a sharpie or marker and I could use them for finer tipped writing things at work but it didn't work well for that so I ended up returning them. They'd be great for regular writing though!

S Montoya: These are nice multi-use pens. They don't have an ultra fine tip but they're still nice to write with as well as color with. I would imagine if you let a child use them pressing hard with them might ruin the point on the pen.
