M5CS: Originally, I've purchased this as a gift but it's now parts of my shaver collection. Like my other Panasonic products it's well constructed and probably will function as advertised as well. I may never know at this point! I did, however, observed that it's best to charge the unit while plugged into a wall socket since it does not came with a charging cable per se like my other shavers. Also, a person must really push the shaver onto the charger to get a proper connection prior to plugging the whole setup into the wall socket. I thought either the charger or the shaver was defective initially until I figured out it's a connection issue.

Regan Lewis: I've only had this razor for about a week, but I'm loving it. It's awesome for spot shaving and to keep that fresh feeling all the time. There is a BIT of hair that says behind, but honestly this is the closest shave you can get without actually putting a blade to your skin. And I find, even if I was to shave in the morning with a blade razor, my legs would still feel the same at the end of the day as if I had just used my Panasonic. So far, I have just had to charge the razor when it first came in the mail, it has held its charge well and I've ran over my legs about every other day. The pivoting head is very nice and really helps when gliding along a person's skin. The bikini trimmer button is a bit hard to press down and up to get it out, I've had to spend about two-three minutes just trying to get the trimmer to come up. thought when trying to put the bikini trimmer away, it is much easier to handle. The razor fits nicely in my hand, and I like the fact that it does not have a cable charger.

Mara Jade: I love this shaver. I have been using this kind for over a year now. I have thick dark hair, and it gives a very nice finish, relatively quickly, and with no mess.

First you have to realize that no electric shaver will give you that perfect silky finish that you get with a razor. It's not possible; they aren't designed that way and can't be. The protective foils stay between your skin and the sharp blades, which means that the cut will be that much (0.1mm maybe?) farther from your skin. That means that you may still feel the teensiest, tiniest roughness after, but it also means that you will *never* get cut!

Pros:
- Wonderful close shave. I had another shaver before this one. It did not give that great of a shave. This shaver, however, is wonderful! This shaver will cut almost as well as a razor blade (but not quite). (See con #1)
- Pivoting head. This means that it will always get the optimal cut no matter where you move it. It also means that you don't have to be careful because it will never cut or nick you. It smoothly and safely glides over every contour of your legs.

Audrey Collins: Last week, after shaving with a razor, I decided that I no longer had the ability to do the acrobatic moves required to shave my legs in the tub. I came out looking like a murder victim with blood running down my legs. So I finally broke down and bought this razor in the hopes of easier shaving. I purchased this one because of the lower price combined with well over 300 decent reviews. A product with that many good reviews means it is liked, and is a decent enough design to hold its own against the more expensive electric razors out there. (One reviewer mentioned some other razor, saying everyone would like it better, but the cost was three times of this one with MUCH WORSE reviews, and I could not warrant over a hundred dollars for it.)

It showed up yesterday in its nice little box. After reading reviews of how it plugged directly into the wall, I had already purchased a short extension cord for it to plug into, now it can sit on the counter. I followed the instructions about charging it for 12 hours. (All Good equipment with batteries tells you to do that.) Then today is the first time I ever used an electric razor in my 40+ years.

tumbleweed: Why did no one tell me about electric shaving before?

Whomever came up with the idea that women need to shave half their bodies to go outside was probably a) a razor advertiser, and b) a man. Contorting oneself in the shower with a sharp implement rubbed all over your body is not a pleasant experience and with my sensitive skin and thick hair I found it to be very time consuming and perilous.

I had never tried electric shaving, but this Panasonic shaver is inexpensive and has some good reviews.

The shave is great - my hair grows so fast that within hours after a normal shave I have some hair growing anyways. So it doesn't matter to me too much that this shave isn't 100% as close as a normal shave. It's close enough to feel fairly smooth and look completely presentable - and I have thick dark hair and very pale skin.

Also it doesn't irritate my skin at all. People complain in some reviews about the plastic guards above and below the foils. They do stick out, but I don't think they're sharp and they didn't bother me at all. Compare some plastic rubbing on your skin with a sharp metal blade and I think you'll find the plastic is far more...
