tdfish: I was replacing a prior wooden handled scrubber with this one and I found this one has one big flaw when it gets wet and soapy...the handle is so slick that you can't hang on to it. It needs some type of rubber grip or tape on the handle and it could stand being about 2 inches longer to reach all the areas on your back for a tall person. I would look at something that has a rubber grip of some kind and I plan or reordering the same scrubber that I had before that has a gray rubber grip on the wooden handle because it was never slippery when wet and soapy.

LaurenLauren: These suckers are massive. You can see the size of one of them with my hand and it's sitting on my keyboard prior to typing this review. They're actually pretty silky feeling and not as coarse feeling as a lot of the plastic loofahs are. This one is also really dense so hold the soap and suds really well so just a bit of shower gel keeps up good suds throughout the entire shower.
My partner also like these since they're black. His favorite color. These are a little more money than the dollar store ones, but they're also like 3 of those scrubbers packed into one and you get four of them. If you generally like to use this type of scrubber in the shower/bath, you'll really like these!
