The fan lights up with cool white or soft white. The fan is quite noisy on high(like a jet engine). The installation was pretty easy as long as you have an extra set of hands to hold it up while wiring it. So far I am happy with it. I really like the look of the fan.

Believe me the picture does not do it justice! It is mostly plastic, so very lightweight, easy to install and looks much more expensive than the price. We installed this in an upstairs bedroom with a low ceiling, it gave more head room than the older ceiling hugger fan we had there. My brother, an electrician, had doubts it could put out the air flow needed for a room that size. He was surprised. He even loved this fan. The remote is a defiance plus for a bedroom fan. And the the timer is a nice option to have available, too. Just ordered a second one, next month I plan to order a 3rd.

This fan is great, however it only has one direction and that is down. Does great circulating the air. The unit was easy to install, tho you should have prior knowledge of how to install ceiling fans, the instructions were a little lacking. The fan is very quiet when in the low and medium settings. The high setting sounds like a jet sitting on your ceiling. The remote is Convenient for changing the lighting and fan settings. Once your lighting is set if you turn the light on and then off each time you turn the light on it will keep your light setting. However, if you turn on then turn off and directly turn on the light setting will change and you’ll have to circulate thru the light settings again.

Fan is really nice looking and was simple to mount, and works awesome because we had limited headspace for a regular ceiling fan, am probably going to get three more to install in our home.
