TDay: Purchased to trim small twigs around yard, mostly young fruit trees, plum trees, figs, etc. I barely used this since I've been recovering from surgery on & off last year. Yesterday, I attempted to trim some twigs from the Plum tree, it started cutting, then halfway, it died. Last night, I fully charged the 2 batteries, I changed the chains, even though the chain was oiled last season prior putting it away. Today, I tried again, started for 3 SECONDS, then stopped! I was looking for the contact number of this company, Brand: OUHOUG since last night. Nothing. Their owner's manual has the usual instructions, troubleshooting but NO CONTACT NUMBER/CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER or anything about the company. What a waste of sunshine! I could have clean the yard, instead, I wasted my time trying to troubleshoot this chainsaw. And to think I paid $84.97 when I bought this May 2022, seller SHJWH can't also be reached. So frustrated.

Bridget: I bought this to cut down palm branches. It is unbelievably lightweight, which is great when you are on a ladder but also very powerful! It comes with a case, two charging batteries, protective gloves, class, an extra chain and even tools needed to change the chain! I have been using it consistently for the past month and never have had an issue! (The chain did get caught in the palm strings and came off once, but I was able to quickly use the tools provided to put the chain back on.) It cuts the branches quickly and effectively! The blade itself is only 4" so some of the thicker branches take a bit more time, I would like to purchase a second mini with a 6" blade for a little larger cutting. Note-I am a 5'6", 117 lb woman with average strength and zero lumberjack experience. :) Great value for the money!

Wanda AndersonWanda Anderson: When I first looked at this and read the reviews, I almost didn't purchase it. The reviews were very good, but kept mentioning how difficult it was to put the battery on and how the screwdriver you needed to adjust the chain was not included. After thinking about it for a couple of days, I went ahead and purchased the Mini Chainsaw. I knew that if I was not happy with it that I could return it. I am so happy with it! I am 69 years old and a widow. I own a half acre property with lots of trees and shrubs. I have a large chainsaw that was my husbands, but I do not feel comfortable with it. This mini chainsaw fits beautifully in my hand and is so easy to use. Both batteries are easy to install, the manual is easy to read and understand and it is very easy to adjust the chain with the screwdriver that is included. It is a hidden two pointed (phillips on one end and flat head on the other) screwdriver. The picture is just a part of what I cut the first time I used the mini screwdriver. The second picture shows the screwdriver. The whold kit comes in a very sturdy carry/storage case. Everything has a place so that you do not loose anything. I HIGHLY recommend the Mini Chainsaw 4 inch !

Annette Walker: After using a pruning saw for years, I decided no more of that nonsense. It takes too long. This handy tool works great for pruning smaller branches. So far I cut down two small overgrown bushes and a small tree. Trimmed them down to size to fit into my yard waste bin. It cut through easily and fast. Overall, if you want to trim and prune faster, a small battery-powered chainsaw is the way to go. Before looking on amazon for a solution, I went to my local rental company. Their smallest chainsaw has a 16" blade and is gas-powered. Too big, heavy, loud and dangerous. I am petite and this one is easy to use which I consider a big safety factor. Being the engineer that I am, I looked at every 4" chainsaw. I picked this one mainly because it had a case so pieces would not get lost and my curious youngster would not see it in the garage, it had a blade guard (or whatever it is called) on the top of the chain, plus it came with spare chains. The gloves were a nice bonus. Be sure to wear safety glasses with any tool like this. Last time I was at the eye doctor someone came in who got a sliver of vegetation in their eye while gardening.
