porcupine: Even though the description clearly showed dimensions, I expected the lamp to be bigger. I tried it out and - wow! - it is REALLY bright at the highest setting. Perfect for my sewing area.

Mitchell Lesnick: I've been using the lamp on my desk for several months now. I think it's great. El Beno: I really like this lamp, it does not take a lot of space on my desk, and it is brighter than I expected.
It has three levels of brightness, which is very handy. I've used OttLite products in the past, I know they cost a little bit more but I believe it's worth it.
