DEREK COULSON: This is not your typical use but I bought this light as a deterrent to some groundhogs that were digging tunnels under the foundation of my barn. I had first thought of shooting the critters but that meant I had to catch them at it. I mounted the light where they tended to congregate their digging. If anything moved at night the light would activate and hopefully blind the little darlings.
Three months in and no more tunnels. I think they have packed up and gone home.

timothy ostman: So only 2 let downs. The middle light is hard to adjust because the motion sensor is connected to the same adjustment.. so for you to point downward you have to actually have the sensor on top which makes no sense. And yes I’m a electrician so I know what I’m doing. Second issue I see is a style thing. The screws that mount it to the box are stainless steel with no cap so they stand out on a white fixture. Other than that this is amazing and for 20 bucks I’m buying 10.
