dyanne: This thing works great. Hold down the button and ELECTROCUTE those darn Asian mosquitos that are rampant in California this year! No buzzing noise..Just gets them. Hold down the button and swipe! Also I started with fresh batteries. Very loud ZAP sound!

Kiki: With kids coming in and out of the house and doors left open flies our regular guests. It’s tough to chase after a fly and swat them quick enough to do the job. I had to get the hang of how to use this, but I figured it out. My best strategy was to wait for the fly to land on a window and simply cover the fly with the racket. The best part is the kids love using this, so it was a win-win for me. If you are quick enough with a rolled up newspaper then this would not be needed for you.

AtoZ: This "paddle" as I call it more than does the job. Flies and mosquitoes are easy to swat and the mess is minimal. I really like the ease of use with the button and the battery life is good too.
Definitely better than most alternatives!

leda5664: I bought this zapper because it was cheaper than the bigger ones. I have had the bigger ones before and they work so much better and great for fruit flies. I think this one is too small or the lightning bolt in middle makes it less effective. I gave some stars because it does work just not as well as others I haved purchased. Wish I would of gotten a different one.

Eileen DeG: Arrived on stated date. Liked that it came with a battery. Worked easily in the beginning then, although the battery light was still showing, flies became harder to catch/zap. Don't know why, as it does not seem as though potency has been lost, which is why I would really give it 4 in the early days and 3 later on.
