I bought this bag for a hot and humid climate in Asia (and later for the desert) since it features the mesh back and wire frame. It’s since been to 7 different countries (1yr in asia) and gets me through everything I need it for.
Pros:
1. Great for hot climate areas. No longer worry about a sweaty, drenched back on small hikes or walking around town.
2. Tons of room.
What I packed on a nearly every weekend basis for 1yr:
Rain jacket, water bottles, snacks, keys, sunglasses, camera with extra lens, large portable battery, small med kit, sometimes souvenirs.
3. Really great fit and extremely comfortable. The mesh back + wire internal frame means the weight is evenly distributed. When the bag is heavy on a hike, the waste and chest straps do their job of relieving some stress and keeping the bag close to the body.
4. Durable materials. I haven’t had any issues in my 1+yr of ownership with any zippers or material issues.
Cons:
1. My biggest complaint with the bag and probably the reason I give it 4 stars, it does not sit up straight when you set it down. It really doesn’t matter how you balance the weight, it...

Just finished a week-long trip, and this bag served as the perfect daypack. It fits under the plane seat. For hiking, just enough room for a 2L hydration bladder, jacket, snacks, and a few other essentials. The built-in rain fly came in handy too. The shoulder straps are a little thinner and less padded than on larger backpacking packs which I was initially worried about, but it was not an issue. Also, since this is smaller than backpacking packs, don’t expect the bottom of this pack to rest on your hips. Again, not an issue for me, but if your planning on carrying a heavy load, just keep that in mind. Overall, very happy with this purchase and it will be my new go-to daypack!

I actually used this for an overnight trip to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, but luckily stayed at Phantom Ranch so didn’t have to pack bedding or dinner - though I still had clothing, sunscreen, bug spray, and a lot of water and snacks/electrolytes, including a full 3L bladder. It worked great, distributed weight well, fit a lot of stuff, and was comfortable. I didn’t notice it chafing against my shirt at all, and I appreciated the airflow given the temps at the bottom were in the 110’s. It’s a great day pack and I highly recommend. Love the green color too.

It is such a great backpack. Light, easy to use, enough space for water, food, some extra clothes. The back with the mash is so convenient. On very hot days you do not sweat at the back. I love it.

This little pack is my go to travel bag. I used it traveling to NY city. Great to have water, carry light jackets, and souvenirs.
I use it for business travel. I holds my 14 inch laptop. Fits under the isle seat, which is the smallest. Easy to carry around offices you may or may not be familiar with.
I use it for easy day hikes. I have the water pouch so it works great. The air vent backing and customized straps fits both me (female, 5’2 and curvy) and my bf (male, 6’2, and stalky).
You can see the orange straps on my shoulders.
