Ashlee FosterAshlee Foster: For some reason this isn’t what I expected. I will admit I didn’t pay insane attention to the height, but I thought it would be taller and just have more space overall. Also, there weren’t any instructions, it just says to watch their video and if you make a mistake you won’t be able to correct it, so, super not helpful. It wasn’t hard to put together but I second guessed a lot of which grooves and which sides of the 4-way ports were supposed to face. Also, I would probably return this if it wasn’t just going in the closet for storage but it’s covered in paw prints?? Not sure why and they all face different directions for each plate, so half the shelf on one level faces one way and the other is upside down. If this was going to be out in the open I probably would be looking to return it. If you don’t care, then go for it.

Christopher: My wife asked me to buy her these two shelves when I asked her for Mother’s Day gift ideas. Of course that meant I would have to put them together, which I am perfectly capable of but hate doing.
When they arrived, I was initially frustrated by the sheer number of little pieces and there was a diagram and parts list included but no actual instructions.
So I went about my normal process which was to get all the parts out of the box and ensure I had all of them which I did.
Next, I followed the diagram and put the base shelf together and attached the shelf above it. This took me about 4 minutes to do. It then dawned on me that the rest of the assembly is exactly the same as I did with that shelf.
Next I quite literally put down the diagram and assembled the rest based on how I assembled the base. It could not have been simpler. Took about 40-45 minutes tops to put the two units together and was a breeze to do.
I didn’t tell my wife I had bought them so I literally snuck downstairs and put them together while she and the kids were watching a movie. I then set them up in the family room with her flowers, card and other gifts when she went to bed....
