A. Martin: We had to get a new ev charger and it didn’t have a hook, this one works well. It’s simple, and mostly metal which is great for sturdiness. We may actually get one more for our outside charger because that one (not this brand) snapped in the cold the second it was winter. We think this one will work better.

spm: For the most part this is well made, but there is one design flaw that was a deal breaker for me. The hanger corners on the EV charger cord bracket are not eased enough. The metal on the hanger portion is 1/16" thick, and while the edges are not knife sharp, they provide two right angle contact points which could wear on the charger cord. This looks like a similar design to higher priced hangers, so is not unusual, but still not good in my opinion. I was considering adding a rounded piece to the top myself to alleviate this problem, but opted to get a cheap garden hose hanger instead. Hopefully the manufacturer will consider adding a rounded piece to the top, as in that case I would easily give the hanger 5 stars.
One other small issue - the screws that come with it have been value-engineered to within an inch of their life. With as many screws as are provided it probably won't be a problem, but I personally would use other screws.
