Bogey17: Actually I prefer regular Israeli Couscous, but when looking for a healthier choice, whole wheat grain is better for me. Plus, I prepare a couscous and vegetable mixture side dish that tastes pretty good.

PrincexPunkin: DELICIOUS. The pearls are a little large, and can get a little chewy depending on how you cook them. They taste good, nutty and smooth.

LibraryLisa:
The product arrived within the stated time, but upon opening it, we immediately noticed the terrible smell. The Couscous was incredibly rancid. My husband has a degree in food chemistry, so he knows what he's talking about. But even friends and family who smelled it, made a face and said words to the effect of: "That's really bad." Most everyone added that, "It smells rancid." Just to be sure, I tried cooking a batch, but that didn't help; it only released more of the off odor, and tasted just as bad as it smelled.
Needless to say, we won't be purchasing from this company in the future, which is too bad since it was a really good price. Now I guess we know why.

Papadoc: I fixed this for the first time last night and am overall impressed with the product, even though I had to alter my recipe some.
If you typically toast your couscous like I do, you'll note that the color change is a little harder to spot because it already starts with a little more brown than regular couscous. It also toasts a little faster, so keep an eye on it.
There is definitely a whole wheat flavor factor involved. The adults seemed to enjoy it more than the kids, but I didn't get any complaints from anywhere. There's also a bit more of a chew factor involved, and a little less of a buttery texture, which is something I expected. All of these are minor considerations, and I'll definitely be purchasing again, but it won't be replacing my old couscous.
