I've reviewed Spicely for other purchases. It's a great spice company, and my go-to for cooking in my kitchen. This review is specific to the Sumac spice. In Persian cooking, Sumac is a staple. Other Middle-Eastern cultures use it, too but Iranian food was my first experience. It is similar to a very mild chili powder with fresh, lemony overtones. Fun on vegetables, chicken, lamb and on hummus. Try it for something new.

Spicely Organic Sumac—lacks the flavor of sumac that I have used previously. The flavor of salt is overpowering. This item is not returnable, so be warned.
