Mark Higson: Never used Sumac before and wanted to try cooking Turkish cuisine so dug out a couple of recipes.
Couldn’t find sumac anywhere locally so went for this.
Turned up bang on time and we loved it as a spice fir chicken.

Salty but not like salt - not as strong, kinda Lemony, citrussy. An overall flavour enhancer! for your meals :) Give them a little bit of something extra - or , and as i've read and i agree, Sumac can even be the star of the show! And this is a nice quality sumac. Very good, very Glad i bought it,
