Hadjila Ait Alioua:
This product has the ability to stop hair loss if the person does not have an issue going red. I used it for 7 successive nights than used it once a week to stop my hair loss. I mix it with rose water for better results.
It does the job but if you skip it one time or stop using it, the loss will come back. I don't like the fact that it is really hard to clean after applying on your hair and it is unavailable most of the time and you need to wait for a long time to be able to order again.

IvoryWitch: This henna is of fine quality. I use it for my hair and have always had good results with it. My natural hair color is kind of dishwater/strawberry blond, about eleven different colors really. I love how the henna works with my skin tone to give me the best, most natural looking shade for me. I don't know if that is peculiar to henna, but the color IS variable depending on the shade of hair and so looks wonderful to me. Other people might get different results. I dissolve in very warm water, add a tablespoon of olive oil, a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 1/4 cup of well steeped french pressed coffee or tea to tone down the more coppery effects on the lighter strands. It gives a depth to the color that it doesn't have by itself. It's a great product for the money!

This henna is really easy to use but the stain doesn't seem to be quite as long lasting as some of the other hennas I've used in the past, which can be a good thing if that's kept you from using henna before since it's known to stain rather permanently. Reds can be tricky to hold on to as well, so to stay truly vibrant, expect to need to refresh your color maybe every 3 weeks. If you have medium length hair, one pouch should last you 4-5 applications. For reference, my hair color is naturally dark brown but it has chemical lightening from previous salon visits and the red doesn't show as well over my roots, though it blends in pretty well for the first couple of weeks. Henna does not lighten hair.
The only thing I can say about this product to improve it would be if the company included a simple document for beginners. It doesn't come with any sort of instructions or documentation whatsoever, but henna is really easy to use. Just mix the powder with water until you get a texture like yogurt (usually 1 parts powder to 1.5-2 parts water, gradually mixed in) and let sit overnight to oxidize. It stains better the longer you leave it, so don't be afraid to let...

Mary Yeboah: It's very sandy, extremely hard to rinse from my hair. I will NOT order it again!! EVER!! Poor quality! I bought 2 pack and I only used one pack. Had to throw the other pack to the trash!!!!

Lana: Just bought my second order of this Henna Powder. I use it for my hair and have gotten about three applications out of it (with shoulder length hair). Definitely does the job, and while I haven't tried any other brands, seems like it is high quality. (Has a 'fresh' dry smell to it, NOT musty. No twigs or large pieces in the bag.)

hippy Prof: this is the BEST henna I have tried. I have used it for several years, once every two months. it covers grey hair with a nice reddish tint.

Ashley Bennison: I bought this Henna to use for Mehndi and it works perfectly! If mixed correctly, it leaves a pumpkin orange stain on the skin. I haven't used it for hair, but I'm sure it would be just fine.

Gabriel:
Looks like henna. Smells like henna. But it dyes like a box dye. A pricey, stinky, five-hour box dye. A chestnut brown box dye. To be absolutely clear: I have been using henna on my hair since I was old enough to spell. During that time, it always turned my hair bright, screaming red. I'm talking Mary Jane Watson. I'm talking turn-heads, stop-traffic, can't-lose-me-in-a-store-even-though-I'm-five-foot-four, RED. I'm talking Jessica Rabbit levels here.
So imagine my surprise, imagine my disappointment, and subsequently, my rage, when I mix this henna as always, apply it as always, and sit with it on my head, wrapped up, for five hours, as always, and then go through the usual hell rinsing it out, only to be left with...brown. A reddish brown, I grant, but brown. Just brown. Not even a particularly shiny brown. Not even a brown that covers my dirty-blond roots. They're still dirty blond, just now with a slight auburn tint. For the record, the bag says "RED" henna.
Now, if I were a newbie to henna and didn't know what to expect, I might just be mildly disappointed. But I'm not a stranger to henna. I know what henna is supposed to look like. I know what my hair...
