SCarr: UPDATED: Went to the post office and they looked up my late orders: the Amazon truck carrying these orders was in an accident (driver killed) and packages mangled; nothing even transferred to post office; advised to reorder item. WHY do you send requests for reviews immediately after shipping a product? This item hasn't even arrived yet; it's already 2 days late. I was very satisfied with my previous order of this product, but I haven't received the second order. At least wait a week after delivery to send requests for reviews so that we can have an opportunity to receive the product and try it! BTW: a great recipe using dry pan roasted quinoa (heat for 3-4 minutes on medium heat, constantly stirring), melt a bar and a half of 85% cocoa dark chocolate and 1 TBSP coconut oil and mix in quinoa. Drop by spoonfuls into silicone ice tray and freeze for 30-60 minutes. Pop out of the ice tray with dinner knife and keep in refrigerator for a great nutty snack (about 50-75 cal. each). Makes about 14-16 chocolate quinoa "ice cube" treats.

Doug Im.: My newly treated, long ignored diabetes has caused me to drastically change my diet. (please don't ignore your diabetes as I did. Among much other damage to my body, I almost lost my toes on my right foot.) The correct amount of carbs eaten at each meal is vital for my blood sugars. Grain is a important part of a balanced diet and this Quinoa works perfect for me. The 1/4 cup serving as listed on the label is very much enough for a side dish for my meal. At 30 mg carbs, it is perfect for my dietary restrictions. Not to mention the extremely low amounts of sodium and fats in this product. And, no cholesterol also. I will definitely be using much more of this grain in my diet. This particular brand of Quinoa from Healthworks is very cost efficient in this 5 pound bulk bag and I will buy it again. I'm very happy with this product and company.
