This is the perfect component to making GF items to fry. I dipped a chicken tender into an egg wash, then the quinoa flour then egg wash then gf Panko crumbs and then deep fried.
A few days later I tried to make scones with the flour, and while it held up better than most GF flours, the quinoa flavor and the texture made the scones inedible.
So GF deep fried items YES! Baking NO!

Flavor has a "off" flavor, but all Quinoa Flour does. I use it, basically, as a thickener for Green Chili, Sauage Gravy, etc. Works better than other flours. Had to convert all my recipes to Diabetic friendly, due to spouse being diagnosed last year. This is the most affordable that I found, and the quality is good.
