Randi: I have been buying Saigon cinnamon and smaller containers from another organic company for years now I decided to buy bulk this time and I'm having to use four times as much cinnamon to get the same flavor I know that cheap cinnamon that McCormick normally sells doesn't have nearly the flavor so I'm incredibly tempted to send a sample of this cinnamon to a lab to have genetically tested because I've already gone through half the bottle in the same amount of time that it would have taken me to go through half of a tiny glass bottle of real Saigon cinnamon... I will not be purchasing this again I will sick to the smaller bottles because ultimately I spend less money doing that and I'm not eating way too much cinnamon to the point where my doctor is concerned... Just don't.

Ann Engel: This cinnamon I found much later in life, I was used to Ceylon cinnamon growing up. Saigon cinnamon is like cinnamon on steroids, it is deep, rich, heavy flavored and overpowering if used too heavily. This is the cinnamon I would used to step up my baked goods where cinnamon is supposed to be the dominant flavor. It really does make a huge difference, it's much stronger than the Ceylon variety.

Art Haule: I purchase this to use a cinnamon bun recipe I found online. I understood that it would be somewhat different than the cinnamon I usually buy. Did I find a major difference in flavor? Not really. Am I happy that I bought it? Absolutely! Well I buy it again? Count on it. The four star rating is probably more a statement about my expectation than the quality of the product. I have no issue whatsoever with the quality of the product.
