AKnight: I had an issue with filament sticking to my 3D printer's nozzle, where it would form really nasty blobs on the hotend. I decided to try putting oil on the outside of the nozzle as a temporary non-stick coating. While this didn't work out as well as I hoped, the oil was continually exposed to 510F temperatures and never did smoke. I'll hold on to the bottle and use it for cooking instead.
