Organic California Walnuts (1 LB) - Shelled Halves and Pieces

Jcancook: I don't like regular walnuts because they can be bitter. I happened to be on nuts.com website and discovered red walnuts. they were delicious but expensive so thought I try some of these less expensive red walnuts on Amazon. This is the second one I tried and it just doesn't taste as creamy. not sure why. you get what you paid for so I'm going back to nuts.com. bummer.

Lernir: These seemed to have been sitting awhile where it is warm but were essentially ok. Flavor not gripping but not bitter either. I've had better tasting and fresher red walnuts in years past, also larger. Overall, howevere, these are ok.
