Grifno: I use these for every day use. I add garlic, dehydrated onion and bell peppers, and hot water. Stir and put in my Hot Logic or Solar Oven bag. Then I use it as a dip for my organic tortilla chips. I might add tomatoes or mashed or chunked avacado to it and eat it for dinner. Big Yum! I'm on my 3rd bag of these now.

Customer: It’s versatile, make it ahead of time or just before you sit down to eat… use water or milk if you like it creamy.. it is consistent, I’ve been buying these beams for two years and eat them at least once a week…. They are really convenient and much less waste, you are now longer stuck with deciding which size can or what type of flavor you want but best of all is the flavor, a nice milky consistency with a hint of smoke and earthy flavor it’s very savory.. and they last making it a great buy… I even take them on flights and ask for hot water and then I’m not stuck with food that I shouldn’t eat… they are terrific!

Cheryl Cash: I started buying freeze-dried produce as a way to eat healthy while on a trip. These beans are a great protein fix when my veggie diet is not curbing my hunger. I just pour hot water from my teakettle on a small portion in a cup and let them sit and voila! Satisfaction!

MLM: I have used Fantastic Foods dried beans for many years, so when they were no longer available I switched to these. The first time I used them was a shock; they were so bland and not "ready to eat"....but then I realized that FF beans must have had more flavoring than I realized. When I added some garlic and a few herbs, these were wonderful. And I also use them for thickening soups and stews. Now I actually appreciate that they are JUST beans and that I have control over how I add the other flavors.
I use canned beans and dried whole beans occasionally, but these dried flakes take up very little room and seem to keep forever the way I store them, in sealed gallon glass containers in my dark cold canning pantry. I dehydrate a lot of my own food also, and think this is a great low-energy long-life storage method.
